The PAL (Parents As Leaders ) Family Resource Center
The PAL Center in Binghamton is a drop-in centers for parents and caregivers with infants, toddlers and young children.
At the PAL Center trained staff are a resource for parents; they provide information about local community services and resources, education on personal and child health and well-being and positive parenting, as well as general support for parents and children.
PAL can also be considered a “learning lab” for parents. At PAL, parents can play or read with their child, join in a group activity – including a community meal, receive support and peer mentoring from other parents, meet with another agency representative or attend a formal parent education class.
